It's always difficult to write the 'about me' part. Easier to pen down thoughts on a specific topic actually.
I was born in Madras, India and grew up in the very beautiful city of Kochi, Kerala. I did engineering, just like a lot of people who are left clueless after 12th grade. I then tried wedding planning and quite enjoyed it. But didn't think I could make a career out of it. I was always fascinated by number games and strategy. And so, I entered the corporate world in 2012 and worked as a revenue strategist in the media industry for almost 4 years. I then moved to Kuwait where I spent 2 amazing years. I am currently in Dubai, working as a pricing manager, enjoying some Middle Eastern luxuries.
I love writing, travelling and taking photos, yes, lots of photos. I write about topics that touch a chord with me, could be everyday ramblings to travelogues to opinions about various subjects.

This is more of a journal, than anything else, especially since I am not active on other social media channels. Something I'll look at when I'm 60 and reminisce my older travels.
My home is my safe space, I look forward to coming back home, irrespective how far I travel. I have had moments of weakness, in Paris, Amsterdam and parts of London where I quickly check real estate prices to reassure myself that I cannot afford to buy a home there.
I enjoy learning about local cultures and traditions, how locals spend time post work, local dishes, wines, teas and coffees. I like browsing local art galleries and open/flea markets, bookshops and gardens, cemeteries and cafes.
I feel sentimental about gentrification, older people with walking sticks traveling alone on a train, stray cats and dogs, old homes.
I feel whimsical about clouded skies, shallow waters around islands, meadows, rainbows, highland cows, old cathedrals, wildflowers growing on the sidewalk.
I feel frustrated about poorly adapted books, badly designed processes, an artist that doesn't know their worth, someone who complains about their marriage for years now, humans blaming other humans and those that don't take accountability for their errors.
